Classroom training along with practical workshops offers a complete learning experience by improving understanding and hands-on practice. This combined method allows for organised interaction with the material and chances to apply it in real life.
This approach accommodates different learning styles—visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic—strengthening theory and preparing participants to confidently handle real challenges.
Teaching Basic 5S in 3 Hours
Our Lean consultants are available to visit your site and deliver training sessions tailored specifically to your needs. Typically, our learning sessions will involve a sixty minute classroom session where we discuss the five steps in detail. We use the classroom as a safe space to discuss lean and 5S principles and encourage open dialogue. We want learners to feel comfortable about what they are learning and create an environment where they can freely express themselves.
Following the classroom session is a ninety minute practical workshop where we put theory into practice. We use this time to work on real life examples. In many cases clients will identify an area for improvement for use during training. As a team start sorting, setting in order and shining the area. We use the Red-Tag system to identify items that may not be required in the area and we keep a track of each tag issues. At the end of the training we take 30 minutes back in the classroom to reflect and discuss our learnings.
